The route of the family tour leads us through the former aristocratic centre. Here we could observe one of the most beautiful and best-preserved castles of Hungary with various exhibitions about aristocratic life. It is worth relaxing in the gardens of the palace, where once proud counts and princesses walked the on the paths of the nicely arranged environment. Leaving the city the Festetics Imre Exhibition Center and Animal Park offer entertainment for young and old alike. Our tour leads through the Great Field and the Old quarry. Here we can also get a glimpse into the majestic beauty of nature on these popular destinations.

We continue our journey from the route of the family tour eastwards. In Gyenesdiás at the Darnay cellar and cultural barn, we could get a light brunch and taste beverages to refresh our spirit, then it is worth visiting the St. Michael’s Hill by winding through Vonyarcvashegy. The western basin of Lake Balaton opens up to us on the hilltop with an unparalleled view. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the hilltop can bring especially beautiful moments to those looking for romance.

Going ever further on the Balaton Bike Route we can continue to cycle towards the town of Balatongyörök. At the eastern end of the settlement, the Szépkilátó (Belleview) is a popular point for tourists. From here we could get a view on the fortress of Szigliget and the immense block of the Badacsony, also the sailships rocking on the lake.

The route of the panorama tour takes us beyond the Szépkilátó. First, following the picturesque panorama, we can cross the roads of Becehegy. The vineberg has some of its old, traditional press houses. We continue our journey from the chapel at Becehegy towards the Afrika Museum on the outskirts of Balatonederics, where we could see the collection of the famous hunter dr. Endre Nagy.
