Beaches
Along the shores of Gyenesdiás you will enjoy its sandy beaches, its calm waters as well as its pleasant climate with a lot of sunshine.
Two beaches are available for lovers of bathing, swimming and sunshine.

Beach in Diás
The bigger beach in Diás, in the eastern part of the village, was rated as the best beach at Lake Balaton in 2018. It is the most beautiful beach in the region with a full range of services, including restaurants, snack bars, rentals, a giant water slide, 2 beach volleyball courts, a football pitch, table tennis, streetball field, water polo (the first one at the lake) etc. It has a 500-metre-long coast and wide areas for sun-bathers. Cars can be parked in a free parking lot.
You can also challenge yourself at streetball, beach volleyball, tango, table tennis, badminton and four-a-side football on the courts of Diás Beach from 11 am every day in July and August. Look for the animator and sign up for a competition.

Beach in Gyenes
The smaller beach in Gyenes, at the western end of the village, is mostly preferred by families with kids due to its sandy beach and lower prices. Despite its narrow coast, it is very popular equipped with fundamental beach facilities. On Saturdays, there are programs for children with animators (crafty workshops).
