In Gyenesdiás, in the family-friendly holiday village of Nyugat-Balaton, you can get acquainted with the wildlife and natural values of the Keszthely Hills, native Hungarian animal species and wild species.
The Experience Centre welcomes all nature lovers. Learn more about the vegetation and the natural values of the Keszthely Hills, and about native Hungarian animals, either wild or domestic.
In the House of Nature Visitor Centre, interactive exhibition elements, photo illustrations, audiovisual effects, and realistic dioramas help visitors to get fantastic insights into the life of the local forests. In 2021 the Visitor Centre was renewed, so it provides visitors with new exciting elements and programs. The latest addition is an AR (‘artificial reality’) application, that helps different animals to come to life. The application can be downloaded via the homepage of the Experience Centre.
The Animal Park is the best place to learn about native Hungarian animals, either wild or domestic.
Visiting the new Wildlife Park in a 4.5 hectares area with deer stands, a renewed petting zoo, and a new playground is a fabulous program for the whole family.
You can visit all three sites of the Experience Centre with one ticket.
